TP-Link Unveils Its First Compact Wi-Fi 7 Travel Router with Impressive Speed and Connectivity Features

Chinese company TP-Link has unveiled its first compact wireless router featuring Wi-Fi 7 technology, which offers a total throughput of up to 3.6 Gbps. The TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 BE3600 Travel Router (TL-WR3602BE) is priced at $140.

This model supports both OpenVPN and WireGuard protocols, enabling users to connect to over 35 VPN providers, including NordVPN and Surfshark, when utilizing public Wi-Fi networks. The router can connect up to 90 devices simultaneously.

The TP-Link Wi-Fi 7 BE3600 Travel Router does not come with a built-in battery; it operates from a 5V power supply or via the included AC adapter, an external battery, or a laptop through its USB-C port.

Equipped with two external antennas, the device allows for elevation to enhance its coverage range. It features a USB-A 3.0 port for file sharing with connected storage devices. Additionally, the router includes a 2.5 Gbps WAN port and a Gigabit LAN port, as well as a customizable button for toggling the VPN on and off or quickly activating other functions.
