Maxim Sushko Thanks Sibir Management for Smooth Transition to Neftekhimik

Former forward of «Sibir,» Maksim Sushko, has expressed his gratitude to the management of the Novosibirsk club following his transfer to «Neftekhimik.»

«I want to extend my thanks to the management of ‘Sibir’ for allowing me to leave for Nizhnekamsk without any issues. I’m grateful to the club and all its staff. This team provides excellent conditions for players. However, I believe ‘Sibir’ understood that I needed a new challenge in my career, and I felt it too. Therefore, I am pleased to have the chance to reset my journey,” Sushko stated, as reported by «Tatar-Inform.»

Last season, the 26-year-old forward played 42 games for «Sibir,» scoring two goals and registering one assist, finishing with a -8 plus/minus rating. Overall, Maksim Sushko has played 182 games in the Kontinental Hockey League, where he accumulated 28 points (13 goals and 18 assists).
