Хакер UXLINK стал жертвой мошенников, потеряв $48 млн Translated: UXLINK Hacker Becomes a Victim of Fraudsters, Losing $48 Million

On September 22, the UXLINK project’s multisignature wallet was hacked, resulting in an initial loss estimated at $11.3 million, according to Cyvers.

The attacker gained access to the wallet by altering the access permissions, subsequently extracting assets totaling $11.3 million, which included $4 million in USDT, $500,000 in USDC, 3.7 WBTC, and 25 ETH.

Some of the stolen stablecoins on the Ethereum network were converted to DAI by the hacker. Within Arbitrum, the hacker swapped USDT for ETH and transferred those to the main blockchain. Another address received 10 million UXLINK from the hacker, valued at approximately $3 million.

The platform’s team has confirmed the incident, stating that they are collaborating with security experts to determine the cause of the breach.

UXLINK has contacted CEX and decentralized exchanges to request the freezing of suspicious deposits and have also reported the incident to law enforcement.

Subsequently, Lookonchain analysts found that the hacker themselves fell victim to a phishing attack, losing 542 million UXLINK worth $48 million.

In an attempt to sell assets on decentralized exchanges, the perpetrator used six wallets. He managed to exchange part of the tokens for 6,732 ETH. Analysts also noted significant sales of UXLINK on CEX.

It is important to note that in September, criminals stole 192,600 SOL worth $41 million from the Swiss cryptocurrency platform SwissBorg and hacked the DeFi platform Nemo for $2.4 million.

Later, the hacker extracted around $2.3 million in ETH and SHIB from the Shibarium bridge, which connects the L2 network with Ethereum.
