On the night of August 14 to 15, the net inflow of stablecoins to the Binance cryptocurrency exchange reached $1.82 billion, marking one of the highest figures in recent months, as reported by CryptoQuant analyst Amr Taha.

«This surge points to a significant influx of capital into the exchange, mainly from large investors and institutional participants in the market,» the researcher remarked.

He also noted that substantial influxes of stablecoins into spot markets are often tied to preparations for strategic accumulation or short-term trading.

The analyst further emphasized that the choice of exchange for depositing funds may depend on factors such as liquidity depth, fee levels, asset variety, and the quality of infrastructure.

Market commentator Maartunn identified a surge in the inflow of USDC to spot exchanges. Following a recent correction after Bitcoin’s new all-time high, the figure reached $3.88 billion.

«Investors see the current situation as an opportunity to buy at lower levels,» the analyst noted.

Maartunn also observed an increase in the «Coinbase premium,» indicating the price difference on the largest U.S. cryptocurrency exchange compared to the broader market; this figure reached $88.7.

The expert believes this is a sign of rising institutional demand.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading around $119,000. Over the past 24 hours, the asset has decreased in value by 2.2%, according to CoinGecko.

Meanwhile, researchers at 21st Capital forecasted an increase in the first cryptocurrency to $200,000 by the end of the year.
