Резкий рост ончейн-активности в Ethereum и TRON на фоне исторически низких комиссий Translation: Surge in On-Chain Activity in Ethereum and TRON Amid Historically Low Fees

Despite the increase in on-chain activity, transaction fees on the Ethereum network remain close to historical lows. On October 26, the cost of a transaction was 0.16 Gwei (approximately $0.01).

As of the time of writing, this figure had adjusted to 0.36 Gwei (around $0.02).

The cost of token swaps is $0.33, while selling an NFT incurs a fee of $0.56.

The chart below illustrates that the average transaction fee is hovering near multi-year lows.

Such low values stand in stark contrast to periods of heightened on-chain activity, during which increased transaction demand led to spikes in gas prices.

However, inflation within the Ethereum network persists, albeit at a minimal level. According to data from Ultra Sound Money, in the past week, the volume of tokens burned has been lower than the issuance of new coins.

On October 28, the number of daily transactions on the network hit 1.6 million, marking a monthly high.

Notably, this surge in on-chain activity occurs against a backdrop of deteriorating other indicators. For instance, the count of active addresses has been steadily declining since May.

The volume of on-chain value being transferred is also decreasing.

The TRON network has also experienced record activity, with analysts attributing the increase to the blockchain’s popularity among retail users due to its high speed and low fees.

According to TRONSCAN, on October 28, the number of active addresses on the network reached 5.7 million in a single day, surpassing the previous record of 5.4 million.

The transaction count exceeded 12.6 million—the highest figure since June 12, 2023.

*»No headlines. No hype. Just pure throughput,»* remarked Nansen regarding the situation.

It is worth noting that on August 29, voting concluded on the proposal to reduce fees on the TRON network by 60%. The majority of community members approved the initiative.
