Новый AI-браузер Neon от Opera: революция в веб-серфинге Translation: New AI Browser Neon by Opera: A Revolution in Web Surfing

On September 30, Opera launched its AI-focused browser, Neon.

The first announcement regarding this new development was made back in May, although the browser was not accessible at that time. As of September 30, the company began sending invitations to selected users who can experience Neon through a subscription priced at $19.99 per month.

«We developed Opera Neon for ourselves and for anyone who actively incorporates artificial intelligence into their daily routines. Today, we welcome our initial users, who will help shape the future of agency browsing alongside us,» stated Krzysztof Kolondra, the Executive Vice President of the Browser Division at Opera.

The new browser comes with several key features:

Opera’s latest browser can generate short pieces of code, which is useful for creating visual reports complete with tables and charts.

Neon includes a feature called Cards, allowing users to run the same prompt multiple times.

The Tasks tab organization tool enables the creation of isolated workspaces.

With this latest release, Opera has officially joined the race of AI-driven browsers. Previously, Perplexity launched a similar solution called Comet. Another notable contender in this segment is Dia.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning that in September, Google announced a significant AI update for Chrome.
