Неизвестные украли $41 миллион у криптоплатформы SwissBorg через партнерство с Kiln Translation: Headline: Unknown individuals stole $41 million from the SwissBorg crypto platform through a partnership with Kiln.

On September 8, unidentified individuals stole 192,600 SOL worth $41 million from the Swiss crypto platform SwissBorg. This was first reported by blockchain investigator ZachXBT.

The investigation revealed that the breach occurred via the SOL Earn product through the platform’s partner, Kiln. This project provides the infrastructure for staking on Solana and Ethereum.

According to SwissBorg representatives, the incident affected less than 1% of the platform’s clients. Management has proposed a compensation plan and promised to reimburse all user losses.

The Swiss project team emphasized that the hack did not impact the main application or other Earn programs.

«SwissBorg remains in good financial health; this incident has not affected daily operations,» the statement reads.

On the same day, PeckShield experts reported a hack of the Sui-based DeFi platform Nemo, where hackers managed to steal $2.4 million in USDC.

Analysts noted that by the time the attack was detected, the perpetrators had already transferred the stolen stablecoins from Arbitrum to Ethereum.

According to the Nemo team, the incident involved the protocol’s liquidity pool. The developers have temporarily halted all smart contract activities and promised to share more information «as soon as it becomes available.»

Representatives of the protocol assured that all assets in their custody are secure. The cause of the hack remains unknown.

It’s worth noting that the attackers had previously injected malicious code to drain crypto wallets through the JavaScript ecosystem.
