Дуров анонсировал запуск ИИ-лаборатории в сотрудничестве с казахстанским суперкомпьютером Translation: Durov announces the launch of an AI laboratory in collaboration with the Kazakh supercomputer

Pavel Durov introduced an AI laboratory in Kazakhstan as part of Telegram’s collaboration with the country’s supercomputer. He announced this at the Digital Bridge 2025 forum in Astana.

«A year ago, we established our first regional office in Kazakhstan, and we are very pleased with the outcomes. It is with great pleasure that I announce the launch of a dedicated artificial intelligence laboratory within the Alem.ai building today,” the entrepreneur remarked.

He highlighted that over the past few months, the company has been developing a new technology that merges blockchain with AI. According to Durov, this innovation will enable over a billion people to utilize artificial intelligence features in a private, transparent, and efficient manner.

“We hope that the Kazakhstani supercomputer cluster will become the primary provider of computational resources for this network,” the head of Telegram added.

Mini-applications within Telegram will be the first to utilize this technology.

At Digital Bridge 2025, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev engaged in a conversation with Durov, where they discussed collaboration in the fields of education, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

The President acknowledged Telegram’s contribution to advancing the country’s digital agenda. Durov presented ideas for joint initiatives in the realm of AI to Tokayev.

As a reminder, in July, the launch ceremony of a supercomputer based on Nvidia H200 graphics processors took place at Kazakhstan’s National Supercomputing Center Alemcloud.
