Децентрализованная биржа Lighter успешно завершила тестирование и запустила основную сеть Translation: Headline: Decentralized Exchange Lighter Successfully Completes Testing and Launches Main Network

The DEX for trading perpetual contracts Lighter, powered by Arbitrum, has announced the complete rollout of its L2 network after undergoing eight months of beta testing. The Token Generation Event (TGE) is anticipated later this year.

This second-layer solution leverages ZK technologies for transaction verification. The team has also launched an updated block explorer for transaction tracking and confirmed the successful completion of a security audit for its smart contracts.

According to the developers, the main advantages of the L2 network include instant order execution, no slippage, and low fees for retail users. These users will continue to have free access to the basic features.

For market makers and high-frequency traders, Lighter has introduced API usage fees. The decentralized exchange has also enhanced its protection system against Sybil attacks and market manipulation.

During the testing phase, the platform attracted 188,000 unique users and over 50,000 active traders per day.

Looking ahead, the platform plans to strengthen its integration with the DeFi ecosystem and implement a fee distribution mechanism for holders of future native Lighter tokens.

Alongside the launch of the L2 network, the second season of the points accumulation program has commenced, which will run until the end of 2025.

Lighter ranks third in daily trading volume with $7 billion. The platform trails behind Hyperliquid and Aster, which stand at $9.4 billion and $81.7 billion, respectively.

Since its launch in April of this year, the Total Value Locked (TVL) on the platform has surpassed $816 million.

It’s worth noting that ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood has compared Hyperliquid to «early Solana.»
