В 2030 году все валюты станут стейблкоинами, утверждает сооснователь Tether Translation: By 2030, all currencies will become stablecoins, claims Tether co-founder.

By 2030, all currencies are expected to be available in the form of «stablecoins». This forecast was made by one of the co-founders of Tether, Reeve Collins, according to Cointelegraph.

The expert believes that stablecoins will become the primary means for conducting transactions. The reason for this lies in the advantages of tokenized assets, which are drawing increasing interest from traditional institutions.

Collins pointed out that stablecoins provide significantly greater transparency and efficiency, as they can be transferred instantly around the globe without intermediaries, which enhances profitability.

He emphasized that the easing of the United States’ stance on the crypto industry in 2025 was a crucial event for the market.

Previously, TradFi institutions avoided blockchain technologies due to concerns over regulatory constraints. According to the expert, the situation has now changed dramatically.

Banks and major organizations are actively creating their own stablecoins. They are attracted not only by profit but also by a more efficient way to conduct transactions.

Collins explained that the distinction between CeFi and DeFi will cease to exist. Applications are emerging that facilitate money transfers, provide loans, and offer investment opportunities. Traditional and decentralized approaches will converge.

He acknowledged that a complete transition of TradFi to blockchain comes with risks. Key challenges include hacking and social engineering attacks. However, he stressed that the security level in the industry is continuously improving.

«The traditional dilemma remains: if you want total control over your assets, that’s possible, but technically challenging. If you prefer to trust a third party, there are plenty of such services out there. They will become more reliable, and individuals will have more options,» the expert concluded.

It is worth noting that in September, Tether introduced a dollar-backed stablecoin for the US market.
