Белорусские власти ограничили доступ к крупным криптобиржам, вызвав недовольство пользователей Translation: Belarusian authorities restrict access to major cryptocurrency exchanges, causing user dissatisfaction.

On December 10, several cryptocurrency exchanges in the Republic of Belarus, including Bybit, OKX, and Bitget, were added to a restricted access list.

The platforms were included in the blacklist based on a decision made by the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Belarus.

According to reports from «Zerkalo», local users have encountered widespread access issues and have begun voicing their concerns in relevant chat groups.

When attempting to visit Bybit, clients of the internet service provider «Beltelecom» receive a message stating:

«Access to this information resource is restricted based on a decision from the authorized body of the Republic of Belarus.»

Authorities have yet to comment on this decision.

It’s worth noting that in November, Belarusian and Russian users reported their accounts on Bybit EU and Revolut being blocked.
