Аналитики утверждают, что низкий уровень фиксации прибыли указывает на дальнейший рост биткоина Translation: Analysts claim that the low level of profit-taking indicates further growth for Bitcoin.

Despite the first cryptocurrency reaching a historic peak of over $126,000, the level of profit-taking remains low. This information comes from a report by CryptoQuant.

In the past 30 days, the net realized profit of holders amounted to 0.26 million BTC (approximately $30 billion). This figure is nearly 50% lower than in July ($63 billion) and significantly beneath the peaks of March ($78 billion) and December 2024 ($99 billion).

The low level of realized profit suggests that market participants prefer to hold onto their assets rather than sell them. Analysts believe this indicates a potential continuation of the rally and a lack of signs indicating a market cycle peak.

Julio Moreno, head of the research department at CryptoQuant, pointed out that the annualized net metric is still on the rise. Historically, it is associated with an upward price momentum.

«As long as there is positive momentum in realized profits, prices tend to trend upwards. In the past, bull markets ended when holders started selling at lower levels,» he explained.

The decline in the metric indicates that new buyers are quickly selling their coins, incurring losses that exceed the profits of earlier investors.

Short-term holders have recently realized profits of just 2%, significantly below the typical 8% seen at market peaks. The metric for long-term investors stands at about 129%, with extreme values reaching 300%.

Activity among OG addresses, which have held Bitcoin for over a decade, also remains low. In the past 30 days, just 5,000 BTC have been moved from these wallets—half the amount seen during peak selling periods in March and December 2024.

As of the time of writing, the digital gold is trading around $121,400, having dropped 0.3% in the last 24 hours.

It’s worth noting that analysts from K33 have stated that historical patterns that previously defined the dynamics of the leading cryptocurrency are no longer relevant.
